What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural state of mind that everyone experiences at least twice per day, when falling asleep and waking up. Hypnosis lies between the states of wakefulness and deep sleep. Hypnosis can be used to work directly with your subconscious mind.

What is the subconscious mind?

The subconscious is the part of your mind that is responsible for most of your day-to-day behaviors (think of it as your “programming”). It is not uncommon for people to acquire harmful ideas and concepts when very young, and these can lead to conduct and habits that many find difficult from which to break free. That’s where hypnosis comes in. We can use hypnosis to reprogram the subconscious mind to make decisions that help us live our best lives.

What does hypnosis feel like?

Hypnosis feels like that pleasant, “drifting-off” sensation when you’re falling asleep. It is a state of deep relaxation and heightened subconscious awareness.

Can you make me do things I don't want to do?

No, you as the recipient are always in full control. No hypnotherapist can make you do anything that you don’t want to do. Your subconscious mind is always in full control to accept or reject any suggestions offered to it.

Can anyone be hypnotized?

Yes, anyone who can concentrate and has an open mind can experience hypnosis. Belief + Desire = Results.
